Hyro has a long and successful history of providing retail solutions to some of Asia Pacific's largest retail chains and brands. Our solutions are innovative and include a mix of consulting skills, project management, best of breed equipment and software as well as our own custom developed point of sales (POS) platform known as ShoPOS.

Our solutions and knowledge are developed and maintained within the Asia Pacific region in key locations including Hong Kong, Singapore and South China and does not have to be flown in or adapted for use in Asia. As a result we have a deep knowledge of language, currency and consumer related behaviour specific to the region and our solutions provide support for these "out of the box".

Our major customers include 7Eleven, Mannings & Guardian Pharmacy, China Resources Vanguard Supermarkets, Isetan.

ShoPOS – Built from the Ground up For Asian Retailers

Our Point of Sales software platform, ShoPOS is currently in operation in over three thousand retail outlets in Asia and is the latest version of software first developed and put into operation over ten years ago by Olivetti and Wang Global. It supports multiple currencies, multiple languages, multiple platforms (Windows or Linux), and has a sophisticated promotions engine and is primarily targeted to the supermarket and convenience store market.

As the software is 100% owned and developed by Hyro it can be customized to work with existing payment systems, include other convenience store functionality such as bill payment or to work with other existing backend systems. In simple terms we customize the software to fit your business model and not the other way around as is so common with many other "off the shelf" Point of Sales systems.

Innovative Solutions from a Single Provider

In addition to software development and retail systems integration, Hyro can also provide a complete "one stop shop" solution from design and build through to operate. This not only includes development of an appropriate hardware platform for the software to run on - but extends to business consulting and marketing services as well as maintaining systems once they are in operation.

From a hardware perspective, although we have close relationships with major vendors Hyro retains its vendor independence in order to ensure the most suitable solution for the customer. In addition to supplying equipment such as POS terminals, Card readers, payment systems, weighing machines from different hardware vendors and testing to ensure they work together we also provide advice on the best working counter layout and arrangement. As part of this service we have the capability to have equipment custom designed according to our recommendations.
